DR. PAT MACDONALD BOONE was born in Paris, Tennessee. The oldest of five children, Dr. Boone was an overachiever who was a championship debater, Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow winner, member of the National Honor Society, majorette, college cheerleader, etc.

Dr. Boone worked her way through college and, upon graduation, accepted a position as a technical writer and editor for Boeing Aerospace in the Saturn V program in Huntsville, Alabama.

A life-long learner, Dr. Boone’s talents and passions are reflected in her diverse background. Following her work with Boeing, Dr. Boone moved into the education realm, where she taught math and science. She later was a licensed commercial and residential real estate agent in Atlanta, then worked in the travel and tourism industry with United Airlines, Eastern Airlines and, later, as an international travel agent.

Dr. Boone was a NASCAR Stadium Announcer at Bowman Gray Stadium in North Carolina while simultaneously hosting her own TV series “Let's Go Racing,” in addition to other community interest TV programs under the series name “Around the Town.”

A dedicated teacher, entrepreneur and volunteer, after being out of college for more than 20 years, Dr. Boone returned to complete a Masters in Counseling and a Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Counseling.

Dr. Pat (as some call her) served as both a hospital chaplain and a volunteer counselor while working on her Masters degree. At Mt. Paran Church in Atlanta, Dr. Boone served as a volunteer counselor in testing, financial and job assistance ministries for the 14,000 member congregation.

My 101 Favorite Marriage Myths was Dr. Boone’s first book in The Life Series trilogy, representing a culmination of Dr. Boone’s professional training, as well as her life experience, with unrealistic expectations secretly destroy relationships.

Her second book in The Life Series was The Health Diet.  After finding remedies for her own dibilitating health problems, Dr. Boone was determined to learn as much as possible about causes and cures for everything that had suppressed her life potential. This lead to her discovery of natural health remedies and alternative medicine solutions, which are included in this breakthrough holistic health book, that examines not only physical health of the Body, but also the Spirit and the Soul (Mind, Will and Emotions).

Due to the overwhelming positive, pre-publication response to her third book of the trilogy, Divorce: Equitable Distribution/ Property Settlement, Dr. Boone founded a grass-roots movement called Stop the Divorce Epidemic! using a successful paradigm in conducting seminars for both lay and ecumenical groups (StopTheDivorceEpidemic.com). She also founded the Divorce Society of America which maintains a website reference guide (DivorceSocietyofAmerica.com) of educational and self-help materials regarding the civil process of divorce and related issues and provides speakers for divorce recovery groups. She wrote Divorce: Equitable Distribution/ Property Settlement after personally experiencing four years of Equitable Distribution, court procedures and multiple attorneys, costing thousands of dollars.

Dr. Pat Boone is a greatly sought-after interactive, motivational speaker, writer, trainer and announcer who lives in Colorado.  She is an Ordained Minister and officiates at weddings and funerals in the Pikes Peak region.  Dr. Boone has written three experiential self-help books and is a popular speaker for both groups and corporations.  She serves on the El Paso County Board of Adjustment for zoning variances, is a member of the Southern Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce and is a speaker listed with the Colorado Springs Convention and Visitor's Bureau.
